How long does the mentoring last?

This is also a matter to be agreed upon individually, but the mentors have provided their availability, which you can check in the application.

We can talk about developing your career as a backend software engineer, do a mock interview, or evaluate your CV.

EnglishCześć! I am Pratyush, a Software Engineer at Google with a background in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. I started my career as an algorithmic trader at a high frequency trading firm. After gaining experience writing software in Microsoft and Bending Spoons, I joined Google in early 2022. I work here as a Software Engineer 3 (level 4) in Google Cloud Networking organisation – specifically in all things load balancing.

I have mentored numerous students throughout my professional career – as a part of Google Women in Tech Program (now rebranded as SkillUp), and previously in college by mentoring juniors on clearing technical interviews successfully. My mentees have since been able to join many prestigious firms, including Google, Jane Street, Meta and Citadel. I have also mentored 3 Nooglers onboard with the google culture, one cohort for GTI program and 4 people via G2G mentoring opportunities. I can mentor in writing and improving CVs, creating a portfolio (https://pratyushpandey.netlify.app/ is my old portfolio from college) and advice for seeking jobs as a student (how to get referrals, build a network and improve branding via medium and linkedin)

Fun fact: I am a certified Yoga instructor, and have my own Indian Classical band 🙂 I also enjoy quizzing in my free time and love trivia/random facts

Languages: C, Python, SQL)EnglishI’ve been involved in tech for many years and have worked across different parts of the industry from early stage start ups to big tech including Meta and Google. Although these days I focus on leading teams that enable Google Cloud to support large scale AI/ML and other workloads, I have also been involved in development of security solutions, AI/ML models and infrastructure, data management systems, and many other technologies. I have recruited, mentored, and helped engineers grow from early stages of their careers all the way to senior leadership roles. This included both technical mentorship as well as other skills that are needed to navigate complex projects and business environments.June, July, August5 hVlad

7back end, business management, engineering (I was a backend developer for couple years. For the last 8 I am driving teams. I did project in the waterfall and agile methodology.)Polish, EnglishI started as a backend developer at Bank Millenium I learned there how the bank is organized and how many moving components it has. Later I moved to the consulting company – Accenture. There I was working in mBank corporate and retail. Accenture taught me how to drive projects in different methodologies. They also taught me how to focus on the important elements of the project and what should be done first. Together with Accenture, I set up a new bank in France – Ma French Bank. This was a great adventure in Paris where I needed to collaborate in a very complex environment. After Accenture, I moved to the startup where I delivered projects with my team in an agile way. We were using SCRUM and other agile practices. The startup vibe is different than the bank environment so I needed to learn how to work with other types of people.
Now I work at Google where people are more like in the startup but also this is a great corporation.
