Ada Coding Clubs are about more than learning to program. Club participants will:

? Develop their logical and creative thinking skills

? Learn work well with others

? Create a network with other girls and mentors

? Learn to believe in themselves

? Program their own projects

Most people don’t know that the first programmer in history was a woman! Born two centuries ago, Ada Lovelace was a pioneer of computing science, and we decided to name our coding clubs after her.
The goal of our project is to create a network of clubs for girls across Poland, where participants not only learn the basics of programming, but they create a bond with other girls and gain self-confidence. We want to support girls in developing their programming skills, strengthening their self-confidence, and prove to them that anything is possible.
Our pilot program includes the creation of 4 Ada Coding Clubs across Poland Poland. Girls ages 8-12 will be able to join the clubs to learn to program, and lessons will be led by trained volunteers. We are launching our coding clubs in the fall of 2019.
