Mentoring Session Location: ONLINE (so you can connect from anywhere in the world)

The STEAM Academy project equips 40 teenage girls from the Mazowieckie Voivodeship with knowledge, hard skills, and soft skills. One of the project elements is the mentoring support provided by a female mentor. • Want to share your experience and passion

What is your time commitment for mentoring?

Up to a maximum of 10 hours over 4 months, from January to April 2024. You and your mentee will set the dates, length, and format of the meetings. The key is to ensure it is convenient and comfortable for both of you. It’s important that the mentee feels they have regular support.

WHO IS A MENTEE?

A teenage girl aged 14-18 who participates in the project voluntarily and in her free time. She has dedicated 60 hours over 6 weekends to learning front end, back end, UX, UI, SQL, and soft skills.

Every mentee is different, with a unique story and different needs. By joining the project, you understand that you are getting a young person who is exploring the world of new technologies and needs guidance. You will meet on a partnership basis, showing that new technologies are for women, giving her the wind in her sails, and helping her find her strengths.
