Python level 2 & 3

The aim of the “Python” course is to expand basic knowledge of Python. Thanks to this, graduates of the project strengthen their professional position. Thus, the role of women in IT and new technologies is strengthened as well-educated professionals.

Who is this course for?
This online workshop on Python level 2 is intended for graduates of the Python level 1 workshop. This means that participants already have basic knowledge of this language. Therefore, they are familiar with statements and arguments, objects, loops, variables, arrays, functions, conditions, and additionally, a basic knowledge of SQL is required.

Agenda:

• On the first day of the workshop: Error handling – try…except. Introduction to object-oriented programming. Classes, tasks, APIs. Examples, types, types of requests. JSON. External APIs – how to use them, what can be found. How to filter information, project using an external API.
• On the second day of the workshop: Frameworks – what they are, what frameworks we have. Flask (what distinguishes it, what it is used for). Django (what distinguishes it, what it is used for). Project that requires basic knowledge of SQL.

Workshops Python level 2 are two intensive meetings that will take place over the weekend. We invite you to join us on Saturday and Sunday. This way, we dedicate one summer weekend, and participants receive an important dose of knowledge in a short time.

Workshop dates: August 10-11, 2024 (9:00 AM – 2:00 PM).

The workshops will be led by ANIA EHLERT-ŚWIDERSKA, who has been working as a Python developer for almost 4 years! Additionally, she works on developing an application that provides comprehensive indicators of customer behavior in the real world. We are pleased that she will also be leading the second level of Python workshops at our Foundation!
