The prestigious STEAM Academy project returns for its fourth edition (free of charge), marking its place on the digital educational map. This unique opportunity allows participants to gain essential skills in new technologies and computer science, covering everything from UX/UI design to advanced coding and creating their very own website. In STEAM Academy, girls develop both technical (digital) and creative skills by working on personal projects and receiving individual support from mentors—experienced IT professionals.
Remember! Technology skills go beyond programming.
Who is this project for?
STEAM Academy is aimed at motivated teenage girls aged 14-19 who want to broaden their horizons, enter the world of technology, and discover their potential. Are you a tech enthusiast? Want to organize your knowledge? Considering an education in new technologies? We teach from the ground up, so if you want to explore the offered subjects and benefit from individual mentor support, this project is for you.
What will you gain from participating?
During 60 hours of intensive weekend workshops conducted online, plus additional hours of mentoring and webinars, you’ll learn the ins and outs of web development, become familiar with databases, learn programming in Python and SQL, and acquire key skills in UX/UI and soft skills. Stand out—your creativity and coding skills will prepare you for future challenges!
Why join?
STEAM Academy equips participants with essential future competencies. We may not know the exact jobs of tomorrow, but we do know what skills are needed for both education and the job market. This prestigious project not only enhances technical skills but also fosters a comfortable group setting, bolsters creativity, and builds self-confidence. It introduces girls to the vast world of technology. Participants will receive a certificate (certifying project participation along with a subject and hour breakdown) that will set them apart in the educational and job markets. There’s a significant gender gap in technology education and employment. This project proves that girls can thrive in tech, too.
STEAM Academy graduates have chosen to pursue IT studies, embraced technology, and are successfully developing their passions and digital skills!
100% of our graduates appreciate the unique approach to learning and the supportive environment. Check out the success stories of previous participants to see their firsthand testimonials of our work and project quality SUCCESS STORIES III Edition.
What is mentoring?
There’s a wealth of information online about mentoring, and it’s worth looking into. Think of it like having a supportive older sister by your side, someone you can ask anything—especially the questions you might hesitate to ask teachers or parents, who may lack the same level of experience and enthusiasm for technology as our mentors. While this component is optional, we encourage you to try it. Even those initially unsure have found satisfaction in this bold choice.
