Become a volunteer
at Girls Code Fun Foundation!
Do you feel the mission of supporting women and girls in new technologies? Want to share your knowledge? Have professional experience or want to gain some? Girls Code Fun is the place for you!
Which form of volunteering do you feel most confident in?
We’re looking for volunteers who can inspire and motivate. Depending on the project and your skills, you’ll contribute to unique initiatives and have a real impact on the growth of our community. We run both online and in-person projects, so your location doesn’t matter. We implement activities that require experienced individuals, but we also provide opportunities for all technology enthusiasts who want to gain their first experience with us!
Volunteers for workshop facilitation
We are looking for instructors with strong technical skills and the soft skills needed to share knowledge in an engaging way. If you’re passionate about sharing your knowledge and experience, enjoy meeting people, respect diversity, and have the ability to listen and explain concepts clearly, we’d love to collaborate with you. Your skills can help many girls and women gain the essential competencies needed to build their careers in IT.
The areas important to us include, but are not limited to: programming of all kinds, web development, data science, testing, UX, graphic design, AI, cybersecurity, project management methodologies, and many others we can’t list here. If you’re unsure whether your skills align with our activities, just reach out to us!
Project volunteers for organizational activities
Do you have a knack for organization and want to support us in administrative and organizational tasks? We’re also looking for volunteers responsible for organizing and managing projects.
If you have experience in project management and the ability to “take charge and find solutions” rather than throwing up your hands in helplessness, join us as a project coordinator. Don’t have professional experience but feel right at home with organizational tasks? Your work will be crucial to the smooth operation of our initiatives and ensuring the high quality of tasks carried out.
Mentors in mentoring programs
If you want to support other girls and women in their growth within the world of technology, become one of our mentors. We’re looking for women with experience in the TECH industry and digital skills who are eager to share their knowledge and support others in their careers. As a mentor, you’ll have the opportunity to build valuable relationships and help others achieve their professional goals.
We run projects where mentees include both teenagers and adult women who are either transitioning to a new career or strengthening their position in the world of new technologies. For each mentoring program, we create separate application forms, but by reaching out to us as an interested mentor, you’re guaranteed to hear from us when the next mentoring program launches. Sounds like a plan?
What do you gain as a volunteer at Girls Code Fun?
Join us and help create a future full of diversity and inclusivity in IT. If you’re interested, fill out the application form or reach out to us directly.
