Tech UP! Learn new tech with EY experts” is the third edition of our educational and development program addressed to youth aged 14-19. The aim is to inspire, educate, and bring the world of technology closer through practical webinars and mentoring support. After the success of previous editions, we return with new topics, broader scope, and renewed energy.

When?

Webinars run from November 13, 2025 to March 16, 2026.

The competition stage and final are scheduled for April 2026. Participation in the competition is optional and open to those interested – it is not a required part of the program.

Registration remains open throughout the entire duration of the program.

For whom?

The project is addressed to young technology enthusiasts (girls and boys) aged 14-19, students of high schools, vocational schools, and technical schools from across Poland.

What will you learn?

As part of the webinar series and mentoring consultations, you will:

  • Learn about personal finance – how to manage a budget and save money.
  • Explore the basics and practical aspects of technologies used by professionals.
  • Discover how to start your journey with artificial intelligence.
  • Understand the role of a business analyst and the process of creating reports.
  • Gain insight into how SAP systems support business operations.
  • Expand your knowledge of IT project management.
  • Learn how cloud computing and application architecture work.
  • Explore career paths in programming.
  • Get introduced to the basics of DevOps and automation.

You will stand out from the crowd. Learn which studies to choose, how to enter the IT industry, and why a computer science degree is not always necessary to work in the technology sector.

What does the application process look like?

Recruitment for the project continues until the final day of competition registration. You decide whether to sign up for all parts of the project, a few, or just one. If you choose to join more activities or the competition later – no problem. You can always update your registration by filling out the form again or writing to the project email address: tech@girlscodefun.pl. All your friends are welcome too!

What are the components of the project

The project consists of three elements. You can take part in all, some, or just one. Exact dates and times of individual webinars will be announced soon.

1.Webinars (online)

We offer a series of 13 webinars (1–1.5 hours each), each focused on a different aspect of modern technologies used by EY experts. Time: 16:00 – each session. Specific dates will be provided soon.

3. Competition – social project

You choose a topic that matters to you. A social project is any initiative that makes your surroundings better. Such a project can relate to areas like culture, sports, new technologies, urban space, or art.
A detailed description of the project stages that will help solve a social problem can be found in the guide we prepared specifically for this project.

Prepare a group presentation showing how you solve a real problem in your local area using technology and tools introduced during the webinars. The outcome is a presentation (e.g. in Canva) with a description of your action plan. Sign up with friends or classmates, optionally with a teacher-mentor. The most creative solution wins.

  • You work on the project throughout the contest period: March 17 – April 17.
  • Mentor support is available April 7–16.
  • Submit your final presentation by April 17 at 11:59 PM.

Each team will receive access to webinars, a project guide, templates, and supporting materials.

Mentoring: Each contest team will receive support from an experienced EY mentor.

  • One meeting is planned, with the date to be arranged.

Prizes: Gift vouchers to empik are planned for the 3 winning teams: vouchers worth 2000 PLN, 1500 PLN, and 1000 PLN.

Examples of social projects

A social project is any initiative that makes your surroundings better.

No digital access for seniors?
Many older people don’t know how to use a computer, smartphone or the Internet and feel excluded from the digital world. Link
→ Solution: an app or online courses for seniors that teach device use step by step, organizing local community workshops, support with everyday technology use.

Loneliness and lack of connection – especially among youth and older adults.
Do you sometimes feel like you’re missing someone to talk to? 
→ Solution: an AI companion/chatbot project that holds conversations, reminds you about activities, and suggests topics for shared connection. Research shows that such AI companion can help ease loneliness. Link 

Winners of Edition II – the successes of our participants

Here’s what participants from the previous edition managed to achieve:

1st place: Learn Ear.

  • The problem: Students have limited time to study and often forget the material.
  • Target group: School and university students.
  • The solution: An app that transforms notes and texts into podcasts – enabling learning through listening during everyday activities (e.g. commuting, exercising).

The team comes from different regions of Poland (including Silesia and Podkarpacie) – united by passion and their participation in “Tech UP!”.

2nd place: Nomad

  • The problem: Social isolation and difficulties with integration, especially in new environments.
  • Target group: People who struggle with making connections, including neurodivergent individuals.
  • The solution: A mobile app that connects people with shared interests, supports event and travel planning, and offers safe ways to meet new people.

3rd place: CYberDivas

  • The problem: Tourists lack tools to discover lesser-known attractions.
  • Target group: Visitors to Sandomierz.
  • The solution: An interactive guide “Sandomierz in your pocket” – no installation needed, with descriptions, legends, quizzes, and a map to make sightseeing more engaging.

These projects show how much can be achieved with an idea and support – we hope you’ll create something special too.
