Additional support for the kunkurs is mentoring: each group of contestants will receive support from an experienced mentor from EY. 1 meeting is scheduled, date to be determined.

How to participate in the competition and prepare a project?

A community project is any initiative that makes your environment better.

Such a project can be in various fields, such as culture, sports, new technologies, urban space or art. For example, you could plan a cooking workshop for high school students or dance classes for children. It is important that the project responds to some social problem in your area. It could be a charity run, an online campaign against hate speech, or other activities that help people and improve life in your community. We will reward the most interesting solution to the problem!

As part of your participation, you will receive support from mentors – experts in the industry, presentations from webinars (topics such as project management, problem solving, artificial intelligence and more), access to a number of valuable presentation templates and project planners to help you execute your project with ease.

You can find a detailed description of the stages of project implementation that will facilitate the solution of the social problem in the guide that we prepared especially for this project.

Examples of social problems:

  • Boring lessons? Low use of technology in lessons. Technology that helps students learn (inspiration – have you heard about the AI robot that solved a Polish math exam in 30 minutes? Find this in the Internet) -> solution: assisting AI in lessons vs. building creativity among students based on available knowledge. An interactive whiteboard, on which you display the found inspiration together with the class and engage in a conversation with respect for differences of opinion.
  • Feelings of loneliness among young people -> solution: organizing time together on the basis of shared passions (e.g., by creating a porftolio at school, where each student can sign up and state his or her hobbies. Live meetings will be organized on this basis).
  • Little contact with nature/greenery in the building and around the school -> solution: agreement with the school management on a collection from which pots and flowers for the classrooms will be purchased. Organizing a community day and jointly building bee hives that will stand on the school grounds, and during breaks students will be able to watch the bees at work.

These are just examples – the topics can be very different. We value cooperation, so join with a colleague, a friend, friends! (min. number in a team is 2 people). Prepare a group presentation (any form of document e.g. PDF/Canva or Video) and show how you solve a social problem that concerns you.

Attend any meeting

You don’t have to participate in all the modules – choose what interests you the most. You can participate both in one selected webinar, workshop or only in the competition, or try everything – the decision is yours!
