About the workshop
AI can generate code quickly, but when debugging, it needs access to what is actually happening in the browser. Copying logs, sharing screenshots, or describing the problem in your own words often doesn’t give the model enough context.
During this free, in-person workshop, you’ll learn how to use Chrome DevTools MCP and AI agents to debug existing web applications. You’ll work with source code, console messages, network requests, performance data, and the application’s current state.
We’ll focus on situations familiar from a developer’s day-to-day work: the application already exists, something isn’t working, and your job is to find the cause and fix the problem.
Who is it for?
We welcome girls and women who know the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and want to develop their practical technical skills. If you can already find your way around a web application’s code and want to use AI effectively to solve problems, join us. If you’re also considering career growth or a job change in the future, this is a great chance to talk to people in the industry. It’s an opportunity to combine learning, inspiration, and networking with women who work with code every day.
You don’t need any experience with Chrome DevTools MCP or AI agents.
You will gain
- First, you’ll hear what companies don’t like to say out loud: the truth 🙂 You’ll get an inside look at the real AI challenges the technical team at HERE Technologies faces in their daily work. Then…
- Explore practical uses of AI for debugging web applications.
- Learn how to give an agent structured context from the browser and source code.
- Practice analyzing and fixing bugs using Chrome DevTools and Chrome DevTools MCP.
- Learn how to diagnose problems with CSS, network communication, and application performance.
- Learn how to verify solutions suggested by AI.
- Discover tools that help you follow current web development standards.
- Receive a certificate of participation in the workshop.
You will learn
Comparing AI-assisted debugging without access to the application and with full context from developer tools.
Analyzing real data about how a website works.
Chrome DevTools in practice: styling, network communication, and performance.
Using Chrome DevTools MCP alongside source code.
Identifying the causes of problems and fixing bugs in a web application.
Modern Web Guidance – following current, proven web technology standards.
