About the project
Girls Code Fun Lab & Znany Lekarz Fun LAB Radom is a valuable tech-oriented summer program for children. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, we offer Scratch day camps and LEGO workshops.
For whom?
The project is dedicated to children aged 6–13 who attend socio-therapeutic centers and community support spaces focused on education and play – ARKA on Chrobrego Street and Bajka on Rapackiego Street.
What do we teach children?
At both locations, our day camps offer a safe and supportive environment where, under the guidance of experienced instructors, children discover that they can create technology themselves. We show them that technology can serve us—when used skillfully and actively.
Together, we design games and animations in Scratch during the day camp sessions.
During the LEGO workshops, we focus on applying knowledge precisely through the use of building blocks that need no introduction!

What skills do we develop?
Education is more than just learning to code. We place strong emphasis on social development and values that are often overlooked in traditional school systems. We see in-person classes as a space for building relationships and growing together – not just time spent in front of a screen. We take a holistic approach to our participants’ development: we talk to them, respond to their needs, and support them on their journey. We teach, but we also listen. Together, we create a collaborative and empowering learning environment.
